WHAT WE BELIEVE

These are the foundational cornerstones to our faith and the way we live. For a deeper theological explanation, see our full statement of faith further below.

We believe in Jesus.

We passionately follow Jesus and believe that through a relationship with Him, we are healed, renewed, redeemed, forgiven, transformed, and loved. Because of what Jesus did on the cross, everyone who says ‘yes’ to Him can have a full and abundant life!

We teach from the Bible.

We believe the Bible addresses every question about life that man has, and that “all Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true” (ll Timothy 3:16). Although our approach to church is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position.

We are all about people.

It would be unbelievably selfish for us to receive God’s grace and goodness and not share it with others! It is our passion to share this faith and hope with the world by seeking to pour out the unconditional love that God pours out on us.

Our Mission

Our mission is to Love, Live and Lead like Jesus;
Love our neighbors as ourselves.
Live a life that honors God. Lead others to the life Jesus died for them to have.

Our Vision

To reach the unchurched, dechurched and overchurched so they can receive and reflect the love of Christ and His Church. The unchurched, being those who have almost no experience in a church setting. The dechurched, being those who were once attending church but are no longer. The overchurched, being those who have years of experience being part of a church but may have been hurt by prior experiences within a church setting.

Sexuality

Sexuality is also a part of God’s design for humanity and is intended to be enjoyed only within the framework of biblical marriage, between one natural-born man and one natural-born woman. Sex outside of biblical marriage is sin. We believe gender is fixed based on biology and not fluid based on feelings.

Sanctity of Human Life

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life.

"13For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Psalm 139:13-16

Marriage

“We believe the Bible clearly describes God’s design for marriage. God intends marriage to be a lasting & committed relationship between one man and one woman. This bond is also a reflection of the lasting, committed relationship between Jesus and His Church.”

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe all of the gifts of the Spirit as seen in scripture are in use today. These spiritual gifts are distributed according to God’s will and enable believers to experience God’s supernatural power today. The spiritual gifts equip the Body of Christ for ministry and we should seek them eagerly while realizing not all believers will experience every spiritual gift. Spiritual gifts should be used in a God-honoring and orderly way. (1 Cor 12, 1 Cor 14)

Love, Live & Lead like Jesus.
